KTO Karatay University (KTOKU) is a non-profit foundation university established in 2009 in Konya, Türkiye, under the auspices of the Konya Chamber of Commerce.
KTO Karatay University has 10254 students, 757 international students, 341 academics, 298 administrative staff, 6 faculties, 1 institute, 2 academy, 3 vocational academy, 92 programs, 48 associateand bachelor’s degree programs, and 44 master’s degree programs in the 2025-2026 academic year.
With a student-centred approach, the university delivers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programmes across multiple faculties (e.g.,Engineering, Business, Social Sciences, Law, Medicine), combining academic education with applied research and stronglinks to industry and public stakeholders.
KTOKU’s core scope is higher education, research and innovation with a clear regional mission: supporting socio-economic development, entrepreneurship and the digital transition.
The university operates with a broad academic and administrative team and a large, diverse student body, and it maintains modern learning and research facilities that enable prototyping, testing and scaling of digital solutions.

Within the Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports Activities, KTOKU hosts a dedicated Career Development and AlumniRelations Office, which provides structured employability support and alumni engagement.
The office coordinates career activities such as İŞKUR trainings, career planning course delivery/support, career fairs, entrepreneurship events, job and internship announcements, and graduate CRM practices.
It also follows up the National Internship Program and manages internship-related operational processes, including student insurance workflows, documentation control, and coordination of monthly administrative reconciliations.
This institutional capacity strengthens KTOKU’s relevance for COMPASS-EU by ensuring the project’s digital guidance solution is grounded in real career-service workflows and labour-market expectations.
In COMPASS-EU, KTOKU contributes as the innovation and technology partner, helping translate career guidance needsfrom schools into a usable, secure and inclusive digital solution that can be adopted in real school settings.
As an in-kind sustainability measure, our University (TR-U), through its institutional capacity, commits to continue hosting and essential maintenance for at least 24 months after project end for GreenLight AI (critical security patches, dependency updates, basic operational upkeep).
This creates a realistic window for mainstreaming and scaling without disruption.
If continuation is not feasible beyond this period, we will support a structured handover of source code and technical documentation to a consortium-governed repository under the LTS protocol.
