IES Villa de Valdemoro is a public secondary school founded in the 1986-87 academic year.
Once located on the outskirts of the town, it is now in the town centre and serves as a reference school for the central neighbourhoods, including families more exposed to economic vulnerability than the newer residential areas.
The local economy is largely service-based, with a strong presence of commerce and related activities, which shapes students’ expectations and the type of guidance they need when planning further education and employment.
The school community includes around 1,400 students and 103 teachers, supported by three native English language assistants, three administrative staff, and seven control/information assistants.
